I came across 2 articles in The Economist which I think you will find interesting.

The first discusses the level of self reported well being at different stages of our lives.  Apparently we bottom out around 50 and peak as we get older, hitting an all time high in our 80s.

All I can add to this is.........hang in there !!

This second article look at the impact of posture on how people viewed themselves.  In short, stand up straight, pin your shoulders back and stand proud.  You will then feel better about yourself.  Give it a go !!

Well my news resolution was to only do things I enjoy rather than things that pay the bills.

So far it feels right and my posture is improving at the same time.(probably nov having to sit in meetings for hours.

My only question now is:

Does a U turn to W if you last long?

I think you will be safe as you have some wiggle room. My suggestion is if your happiness starts to dip again in your 80s, become an extroverted woman, and you will reach new heights.

Let me know how you get on :)
